Dr. Patrick Olubunmi Omotoso (Chairman)
Bio of Patrick Olubunmi Omotoso, MB., BS, ChM, FRCS, FCS(SA), FACS, FSVS
Born and raised in Nigeria, West Africa with his 6 brothers. Had medical education at the University of Ilorin, Nigeria, and did general surgery residency and vascular surgery fellowship at the University of Cape Town and Groote Schuur Hospital, Cape Town, South Africa. Subsequently did another year of vascular fellowship in Bournemouth, England and later, endovascular fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic, Ohio, USA. Married to Thuli, and blessed with 2 sons- Tolu (23) & Timi (15)
Practiced as consultant vascular surgeon in the UK until October 2010, when he relocated to Saint John, NB, as Staff Vascular Surgeon with Horizon Health, and Clinical Assistant Professor with Dalhousie University Memorial University of Newfoundland. Hobbies- travelling, walking and playing squash.
Chika Olive Ozoemena (Secretary)
With more than 13 years’ experience in two sectors; philanthropy and finance, Olive is attracted to initiatives and projects that build a stronger community and promote diversity and inclusion. She is a community builder with noted business acumen.
Olive has provided leadership in areas of program development and delivery, project management, organizational change management and grant writing. Olive is a critical thinker with an innovative spirit, she has applied these skills with recognized success in her different jobs. Olive brings creativity, innovation, vision, and energy in every project, initiative, and venture she undertakes.
On personal times, Olive can be found attempting to run half marathons, hiking, and travelling with her 4-legged friend.

Dr. Tunde Apantaku (Member)
Tunde Apantaku is a Physician and CEO of Dr. Tunde Apantaku Psychiatry Clinic, Saint John NB. He also serves as an ordained minister of The Redeemed Christian Church of God Canada.
He is an ardent believer in the corporate identity of Nigerian nationality, and the effective ability we have in creating maximum advantages in Canadian communities.
Anderson Enuneku (Member)
I moved to Saint John New Brunswick from Nigeria in 2017 with my family. Spent about 3yrs in Saint John before relocating to Moncton for work. I currently work with Canada Post and a volunteer staff of Glad Tidings church.

Folake Abel-Adegbite (Member)
Folake Abel-Adegbite is a certified Licensed Counsellor in New Brunswick. Folake strives to have a positive impact on people by assisting them with their challenges. She does this by providing her clients with tailored treatment plans that can be integrated into their daily living. Her counselling services includes face-to-face, telephone and video counselling for children, youth, adult, and families with various mental health conditions. She supports organizations and employees following a disruptive crisis to restore the workplace to levels of productivity. She also provides counselling services for employees (EAP) and their families to improve their mental health.
Folake earned her Master of Education in Counselling Psychology from the University of New Brunswick, Canada. Bachelor of Education from the University of Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State, Nigeria and College of Education Certificate from Federal college of Education, Osiele Abeokuta, Nigeria. Folake is a member of the Canadian Counsellors and Psychotherapists Association (CCPA) and the New Brunswick Teacher’s Association.
In her free time, Folake enjoys working out at the gym, travelling, cooking, singing and listening to music.
Taiwo Obaniyi (Member)
My name is Taiwo Obaniyi. I was born in Lagos state Nigeria into the family of late Mr and Mrs Obaniyi. My primary and secondary education were in the East and South geographical area of Nigeria. I attended Ahmadu Bello university, Zaria for tertiary education. The impact of my education in different geographical locations is the need and ability to learn and speak the three major languages. I speak Yoruba, Ibo and Hausa languages fluently – A true Wazobia.
I am married to a beautiful woman, and we are blessed with two beautiful daughters. As an adventurer, we travelled to Belize, a small Caribbean Island in Central America. We lived there for five years before relocating to Canada in the year 2010. While in Belize, I worked as a lecturer in the Wesley Junior College, a post secondary institution that prepares students for diploma certificates in social sciences.
My hobbies are, travelling, reading, singing, and making friends. I also have a passion for helping people.
Olufemi Hephzibah (Member)
Olufemi Hephzibah is a seasoned professional with more than 17 years experience on civil, commercial bank building, oil & gas, infrastructure development, and IT projects in different continents. He is Consultant, a Trainer, an Author (Tactful Coalition) and an Entrepreneur.
Olufemi was the former Director, Local Event Committee (LEC), Moncton, for the Project Management Institute, New Brunswick (PMI-NB). He obtained his bachelor degree from the Federal University of Technology Akure (FUTA), he holds MSc.(Oxon) and MBA (DIU). He is a Project Management Professional (PMP), a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (LSSBB) Professional, and a Scrum Master Certified (SMC).
